Spinal Health Checks

WIN WIN WIN WIN THROUGH SPINAL HEALTH CHECKS!

Raise funds for the Australian Spinal Research Foundation (ASRF) and build your business at the same time through spinal health checks.

The way it works is really very simple: chiropractors working individually or in groups at shopping centres, exhibitions, gyms or even in their own office, offer a free initial consultation to people willing to make a tax-deductible donation of at least $20 to the ASRF. Some chiropractors simply offer the free consultation through a voucher in a newspaper or during a health talk.

The experience of participating chiropractors is that people welcome the opportunity to donate, are keen to enjoy a healthier life, and at least half of them become regular chiropractic patients. Shopping centres and expo organisers love the idea because it is usually the most popular booth, and, of course, it is raising the profile of the chiropractic profession in the community.
That is why we call it a WIN-WIN-WIN-WIN strategy.

Importantly, all this is done in line with CAA and Registration Board protocols. The ASRF always insists on that when inviting chiropractors to raise funds in this way.

Free Starter Kits and Schedules of Events are available from the ASRF office, and we supply hints, receipt books, deposit books, signage and brochures as well. Call us today on telephone 07 3808 4098.

Bright Future Campaign

The Bright Future fundraising campaign generated almost $111,000 this year through donations, and, with the help of surpluses from other fundraising activities, passed the five-year target to build the ASRF Research Fund to $1.5 - a year early! The substantial 'runs on the board' shown below should help convince governments to dedicate funding for chiropractic research, as is now happening in North America.

While it remains difficult to attract new Donors, most of those continuing from the previous year have remained loyal to their pledges. Indeed, some continue to donate long after the expiry of their pledge. End of financial year donations remain a significant source of income to the Bright Future campaign. Last year, the largest single donation was $10,000; this year the same chiropractor donated $15,000 to our cause, bringing his personal total to over $155,000 since 1988 - our top Donor.

Whether large or small, all donations to the ASRF Research Fund are very much appreciated. Donations are also tax deductible. Further, all donations are invested in perpetuity - the annual Research Grants being funded only from returns on investments, not from the capital. This policy ensures that a significant pool of funds will always be available for chiropractic research.
