Grant Application Process

The Research Committee is responsible for advising and making recommendations to the Board of Governors on the state of grant applications, monitoring progress and advising on funded projects, and on matters relating to research, including the quality and scope of such research.

Expressions of Interest (EOI) Applications
The Australian Spinal Research Foundation each year invites Expressions of Interest (EOI) for grants to support research initiatives. The Foundation has established research priorities to support its vision to contribute and resource research that expands our knowledge base in health care delivery for the wellbeing of our community.

Funding will favour those applications that contribute to the development of chiropractic in key priority areas. For the 2012 round research priorities include:

Priority 1: Fundamental Research
The Foundation is interested in supporting research that expands our knowledge and understanding of the vertebral subluxation complex and the chiropractic adjustment.

Priority 2: Clinical Research
The Foundation is interested in supporting clinically oriented studies that contribute to and expand our knowledge and understanding of the impact of chiropractic care on human physiology, the nervous system, global well being and quality of life.
