Dr David Cahill graduated in 1992 from PIT, enjoyed learning about practice firstly as an associate and then as a locum throughout Australia. In 1995 he travelled to Northern Ireland, where he fell in love with the place and the people and stayed for over 2 years before coming back home to start his own practice in Melbourne in 1998. He was very fortunate to have been heavily influenced in his technique by Alan Brady and in many other ways by Geoff Airey.
In 1999 he was encouraged by Dr Brian Kelly to take up a position on the Board of Governors of the Australian Spinal Research Foundation. In 2006 he became President of the ASRF and he has thoroughly enjoyed the challenges of serving the profession he loves in that capacity. He is a passionate supporter of the vision encompassed by the Dynamic Growth movement and was able to express that passion as Convenor of the DG Congress from 2002 – 2007. He and his partner Fiona have 2 children, about whom he is also passionate.
David will let you in on the secret that has transformed his practice in the last year, and in doing so share with you an insight that has the capacity to transform yours. Some of you may not be ready for it, but those of you who are will take away from David’s presentation a ready-to-use perspective, which will have you dying to get back into your practice on Monday, and possibly for ever more.
